I'm Gene Stovicek. DogWaterChamp is an amalgam of a lifetime of interests, work and experimentation.
My background moves between photography, fine art, design, technical trades, business leadership and large-scale event production. I've learned in classrooms, workshops, studios and from the people generous enough to share what they know.
Friends introduced me to screen printing and printmaking before I went on to print color photographs and study color theory in college. Those experiences helped shape a practice built on curiosity, craftsmanship and a willingness to work across disciplines.

Why DogWaterChamp?
People hear DogWaterChamp and think it’s a joke or a jab—like “dog water” means low-quality or disposable. But that says more about how they treat their dogs than anything else. For me, dog water is held to the highest standard. I bring the good water, the fresh water—the kind you'd pack for your best friend on the hottest day. That care and thoughtfulness? That’s what I bring to every shoot, every edit, every detail. It's not about what you're willing to drink. It's about what you deserve—and making sure even the smallest things meet that mark.
